Alsisar Haveli

The City Palace is an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal art and architecture. The City Palace complex houses several palatial structures. Jai Singh built the outer wall but other additions were made much later, some right up to the start of this century.

Jaigarh Fort, Jaipur
At a distance of 15kms from Jaipur, stands the imposing Jaigarh Fort. Also called the Victory Fort, the Jaigarh Fort stands in the midst of thorn-scrub hills that impart a sterner look to the already forbidding Fort. As one approaches the fort from the steep road that leads to the main gate, the Dungar Darwaza, one cannot help but remark at the amazing view it offers of the city below.

Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur

Jai Mahal Palace is one of the finest hotels in Jaipur. The original building of the hotel is believed to built way back in 1745. The palace was renovated by the Taj group. Mandawa Haveli
Mandawa Haveli was built in 1896 by Thakur Bhagwat Singhji, the 15th ruler of Mandawa. The haveli built in the Jaipur style of architecture with numerous pillars and arches is located in the heart of Jaipur City on Sansar Chandra Road. The hotel combines old world charm with the best of present day facilities. There are 28 well-appointed rooms with intricately carved wooden beds; historic photographs and king-sized royal portraits.

Narain Niwas Palace

Narain Niwas was built in the 1928 by General Amar Singh, Thakur of Kanota, Commander of the Jaipur State Forces and confident of the then Maharaja, Sawai Man Singh. General Amar Singh was the grandson of Thakur Zorawar Singh, founder of the Kanota family. Thakur Shivnath Singh, (General Amar Singhji’s brother) supervised the actual construction. The new mansion was named after their father, Thakur Narain Singh, who had been Chief of police in Jaipur State as well as a minister at the neighbouring princely state of Alwar.

Phool Mahal Palace, Kishangarh

Phool Mahal Palace has the massive Fort of Kishangarh as its backdrop and is washed by the monsoon fed Gundalao Lake in front, an architectural setting very rarely seen in Rajput history. Dry and drab though it may seem in the summer, the first magic showers transform it into a serene and smiling land.

Raj Palace
The first mansion in Jaipur, the Raj Palace was built in 1728 by the Prime Minister of the Raj, Thakur Mohan Singhji of Chaumoo and has remained his descendant's residence until now. For during the Moghul King Aurangzeb to the time of Empire, a virtual "Who's Who" —from Kings & Queens to the Viceroy of India—came to dine or sleep in the embrace of the mansion's grandeur and grace.

Rajputana Sheraton, Jaipur

Rambagh Palace, Jaipur
Rambagh was initially, a modest four-room pavilion built for Kesar Badaran, chief lady-in-waiting to Maharani Chandrawatji, in 1835. Later, in 1887, a need for a guest-house cum hunting lodge arose. And Kesar Badaran ka Bagh naturally lent itself to such a transition. Rambagh Palace however, only achieved the status of a palace when Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II returned to his childhood home in 1925. Rambagh Palace, resplendent in all its 47 acres, was finally converted into a hotel in 1957. The Management was then entrusted to The Taj Group in 1972. The Rambagh Palace has since blossomed in to one of the finest experiences any hotel can offer.

Roopangarh Fort, Ajmer
The fort was built in the year 1648 AD by Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh for the defense of the district. The fort was once used to protect the town but now the fort is one of the main heritage hotels of Ajmer.
